Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Maia Web Works receives when someone visits this website or gets in touch, what it is used for and what rights you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
Leonor Maia Monteiro, trading as Maia Web Works. For any question about your data, write to maiawebworks@gmail.com.
What data we receive
- When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email: your name, your business name, your phone number or email, and whatever you write in your message. The form on this site does not store anything; it only prepares the message, which you send yourself through WhatsApp.
- When you visit the site: the hosting provider records technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site works and stays secure.
What we use it for
- To answer your request and prepare a demo or a proposal (pre-contractual steps).
- To provide the services you hire and issue invoices (performance of a contract and legal obligations).
- To keep the website running and secure (legitimate interest).
We do not sell data, we do not send advertising without your permission and we do not use your data for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
We only keep your data for as long as needed to answer your request. If you become a client, for the duration of our business relationship and for the period required by law for tax and invoicing purposes.
Who it is shared with
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.
- The website hosting provider, which processes the technical data of your visit.
- Google Fonts, which serves the website's typefaces and therefore receives the visitor's IP address.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, always with the safeguards required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools.
